
Route Based Vibration
Machines don’t typically just fail. In most cases, they produce vibration levels and patterns as warning signs. It is our job to visit your site on a regular basis to measure vibration on a predetermined list of machines in search of those warnings. The plot below is from a route-based vibration program that identified a developing machine problem before failure. The vibration pattern is that of a bearing outer race fault.

What makes us Different
Services are not limited to just the machines on the day’s route. We offer a “Day Trip” provision. On these Day Trips, we check vibration on suspect machines that may not be on a route. These visits can be used at your discretion or that of the analyst to spot-check machines in search of “the one”. This feature of our Route-Based vibration program has been extremely successful.

Route-based vibration analysis means that you regularly collect vibration data on the same machines. The machines are visited via a logical path developed to economize on data collection time.

The data collection interval is usually once per month, every other month, or, quarterly. The more critical the machine, the shorter the interval.
